In both short stories, How I Met My Husband in Something Ive Been Meaning to Tell Youand The Moons of Jupiter in My Best Stories, Munro uses the inaugural person narrator to utter the layer. The short story of How I Met My Husband is told from the first-person point of view, the story layers the voice of the fifteen-year-old Edie. The story is told as a memory when Edie is old and a married woman. Edie tells her past life which she spent in the country, she is a hire girl for Peebles family that lives in the country, and this was her first job. She always compargons country and citys life, and how she lived. She compares the values of the country and city and how that is different from each other sweetness was never to write home about, at their place.
